Thank you to all who came out and enjoyed the Post 266 Annual Clam Bake.  I wnat to thank ALL the volunteers who helped out at the Clam Bake.  It's great to members and guests having a great time, enjoying the great food and great music from the Southern Pride Band.  Be sure to chack out some of the other upcoming event and Friday night entertainment.

I want to remind all to come out and enjoy some great dinners served on Friday evenings.  The Legionnaires server up a great steak dinner ever three weeks, the Auxiliary and S.A.L. serving up great meals on the other Fridays.  (SEE CALENDAR for dinner nights and food being served).  We volunteer our time for you, our members, so please support your Post 266.

Glad to see members attending and participating in the monthly Legion Mettings.  First nominations for officers will be in April's meeting and final nominations and voting in May.  I encourage Legion members to attend.  Just a reminder to the few who still need to pay your 2014 membership, it is time to do so.

   For God and Country,

                                                                    Andy Schrantz, Commander

   Hello ladies.

It has been a nice start to 2014.  Thank you to those that have paid their renewals, please stop by and pay them if you haven’t.   We had a good turnout for our Winter Wonderland on Jan. 31st in memory of Carol Hemp.  We raised money with our cake auction for the Ronald McDonald House, something dear to Carol.  Our children’s Easter Party will be April 12th from 1 pm to 3 pm.  Sign up deadline is April 8th.  Lunch and baskets for the kids with an egg hunt.

Our Luau will be on May 3rd, please plan to attend.  Should be a great time for all.  Nominations for officers will be coming up in April, please consider attending meetings and volunteering your time.  We can only grow with the support of our members.

   For God and Country,

                                                                                    Rhonda Stoothoff, President

   Greetings Members:

I hope this report finds all of our members and their families doing well.

We will be having a benefit on Saturday, April 5th from 4-8pm in the backyard for one of our longtime members Dave Austill. He has been diagnosed with leukemia (M.D.S.) and required special shots that his insurance will not cover.  Hamburgers, hot gogs, baked beans & potato salad will be served along with entertainment, raffles and 50/50 drawing.  Please make it a point to mark your calendar for this special day.

In closing, for those of you who have yet to renew their 2014 membership, please do so by May 1st.

   For God and Country,

                                                                                   Alan King, S.A.L. Commander
